"AALBORG SURREAL for a WHOLE MONTH
Aalborg surreal is a platform that gives upcoming artists the opportunity to present and exhibit their work to the public, and offers the audience a chance to explore, experience and discuss the local art scene.
OPEN CALL
We gladly receive any submission along the line of Surrealist themes, and in any medium imaginable; installation, sculpture, digital, sound, painting, performance, electronic, etc., giving complete freedom to the artists in what they choose to submit.
Visits to the venue can be arranged to offer new perspectives and explore the possibilities of site specific works.
Unfinished works or proposals can also be submitted so long as the work will be completed by the exhibition date.
Artworks will each be exhibited for up to six days during the festival, please tell us if there are dates you may not be able to exhibit.
Artists are responsible for transporting, setting up, and taking down their artwork.
An attached CV and artist statement would be appreciated but is not mandatory.
Feel free to contact us to discuss ideas and possibilities.
Submissions must be sent to info@aalborgsurreal.dk no later than November 1, 2016."
